Progression Maps

Children progress at different rates in different areas of mathematics and whilst I do not like tying different areas down to certain ages, the order of learning is important. I have created the progress maps below for key areas of understanding for topics that span right from the age of 3 years up to GCSE level. I have split each one into the levels of Mathematical Foundations (1), Key Skills and Concepts (2) and Optimising GCSE Performance (3).

I have also included some example questions you can try for each level to test your child's understanding. These are numbered so that they match exactly with the key skills listed.
